Fujitsu's M2512A provides the following funcions: Compatibility with most available systems such as IBM-compatible PCs and Macintosh and SUN compunters, for example. The host connectivity switch is mounted on the PCB, and connection can be made simply by changing the switch. A write-cache function using a read/write adaptive cache can be selected by a switch on board, enabling rapid data transfer. Operation in either verify or non-verify mode with users' options. This feature results in the fast write performance needed for image storage, and meets the requirements of graphic artists, multimedia produces, and video professionals, among others. An active terminator which can be easily selected by a switch on board. Low power consumption and low heat generation through the use of Fujitsu's advaned LSI technology and a three-step software-selectable sleep mode enable the M2512A to be easily installed in personal computers and workstations.
